Program Officer, Richard King Mellon Foundation
Lynne Ventress serves as Program Officer at the Richard King Mellon Foundation. Lynne engages with partners from all the Foundation’s program areas, with an additional focus on the Foundation’s new Economic Mobility funding program. Lynne enjoys collaboratively partnering to cultivate innovative, evidence-informed ideas that serve the region. Before joining the Foundation, Lynne was a manager for Deloitte Consulting, working primarily with the firm’s federal government clients. Lynne worked closely with executives to identify solutions to government and industry problems using tools such as behavioral economics, design thinking, and best practices in program management. Before joining Deloitte, Lynne’s career includes service as the Director of Fellowships for the Coro Center for Civic Leadership in Pittsburgh and as a seventh grade teacher with Teach for America. Lynne received her B.A. in Literary Studies with a Minor in Religion from Middlebury College, and her M.S. in Public Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University, Heinz College.
